Amazing. That's all I can say! This mission trip has been so much more than I ever thought it would be. The people I've met on this trip are so wonderful I can't even explain it. They are all so committed to being here and serving the Lord, and it has really been a blessing to work so hard with them all. I've grown to know and love everyone and the unique things about them that make them so awesome, and it has truly made an impact on me. My faith has definitely strengthened during these few days, and it will continue to grow as we have more experiences together. I think my favorite thing about this mission trip is the one-on-ones. After we have large group, we get paired up with someone in our small group each day and tell our life story, how our faith has evolved over the years, and the rough patches in life that God pulled us through. It's a very special opportunity to get to truly know someone and what they've suffered, and how they have remained strong in their difficult times. It moves me to have someone share with me these personal experiences, and to trust me with confidentiality. And every time I listen I take away a lesson or idea that boosts my faith in God, and makes me simply say, "Wow".
